Use some vise grips to remove the pin and buy another pin. Once you get it going, you can use a set of these to slowly squeeze the pin in:

You should check and clean the roll pin holes before installing.

3/32 should be the bit size to hand turn and clear out any blockages(not 100% sure in the size).

A tad of grease can help get them started too.

Do NOT use a bigger hammer for this process!

I do that too. I use channel locks with electrical tape to get that pin started and in about half way then you can hammer it in with some roll pin punches.
