I have found a ton of edible fungus along the upper chattahoochee. red and golden chanterelles as well as mane and chicken.

How was the chicken? That's one that has eluded me since the beginning.

I am not big on seafood. some are slightly craby? some more like chicken. but i can't help pick what i find kayaking. it's all meaty tasting fungus. I cook em like chants. garlic, shallots, olive oil. ramps if i findem, maybe try with leeks this year.

Nice, I only found and cooked a few. Nothing like those you have but I did find a nice Lions Mane. They are excellent.

They have many medicinal benefits, good stuff!
