So in other words.. limited to 3 only if hunting fowl.

Kinda funny you can only have a 3 shell shotgun but can pack a 100rd BETA mag in your AR.

Old law and it is 2+1. Something to do with the requirements for duck hunting carrying over into the big game world.

Here is a quote from the regulations book:


Special Firearm Restrictions
Plugged Shotguns: Shotguns must be plugged to a maximum capacity of 3 shells (magazine and chamber combined) except for deer, bear and feral hog shotguns, which are limited to maximum capacity of 5 shells. Plugs must be one piece and incapable of being removed through the loading end of the magazine.
Silencers: Silencers may not be used for hunting.

Not in Ga that has shotgun only hunting in certain counties and areas.
