How come no one ever ever tries to claim that a Taurus or Rossi revolver is as good as a S&W? Or a Cobra .380 is as good as the LCP?
You have to realize that if you want a rifle for less than the cost of a new Glock, corners have to be cut and will be cut. Some of those corners will be cut in areas integral to the operation of the rifle.
Cut the cost by sacrificing nice furniture, rail, having a gritty mil-spec trigger or an FSB instead of low profile block with a flip up sight. Don't cheap out on the stuff that matters so you can have a nice trigger, keymod rails, aftermarket stock, etc.

CHINA has been importing AR15 parts for some time now. If you're buying cheap AR parts with no roll markings and no forge marking then chances are that they are from CHINA.
Most all stripped lower receivers are made in the US. NONE of the remaining parts are required to be made in the US.
The Chinese parts have no quality control and are sometimes made from VERY inferior materials. Just like with everything else on the planet , YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Except with guns you are holding that item against your face and conducting numerous controlled explosions......."controlled" is the key word here. When you're at the ER picking pieces of Chinese aluminum out of your face then you can look back at how you ignored my advice.
