Congrats, looks like both Lucas & cdb's pup have big paws to grow into.
Never hurts to have a cat around to keep dog in line. Doesn't take long
for dog to learn who's in charge. Otis, black lab in thumbnail, now 82 lbs
and 7.25 yrs old. Have a big yellow cat that moved in after students that
lived around corner graduated and moved back to Atlanta leaving 3 cats
behind. The way Otis & cat get along you'd think they grew up together.

Except for this guy I have now, I've had Shepherds my whole life. Great dogs.

I was told he's a Shepherd/ Belgian malinois he does have the look of so I don't know hopefully he has the temperament of those two he should make a great family member.

My wife was in Louisiana visiting family last week and was at a softball game with one of her grand kids, and a car pulls up, pushes this guy out of the door and drives away.

Sweetest dog, was playing with everyone and loving on all the kids, not even slightly aggressive... She tried to find a non kill shelter but there were none and nobody wanted a dog, so she took him to the vet to get checked out, he's about a year old and seems to be a Pitt and Sharpei mix... About 50lbs...

So she brought him home with her... He made himself right at home, gets along with the two little Chihuahuas, a corgi mix and our Beagle...

The outdoor cats, he does try to chase down and grab so we have to watch him close and zap him with the shock collar when he does that, but other than that he is just happy all the time and licks you to death...

We named him Louie... Gonna get him "fixed" next week...

Four kids to play with is tiring for the little guy. Plus the vet visit
