Just picked up a WW2 Springfield Garand at a local gun store, was originally bought as a CMP correct grade WWII with letter from CMP verifying it.

Always wanted one of these since I was a kid...pistol grip seems to be the perfect angle and meant for the carbine.
And yes, it is a reproduction stock set. And its going to require some filing.

Had the range to myself today! Retirement is great.
Shot all reloads, except the 7.63 Mauser too and haven't blown myself up!

I found a Winder Musket at my LGS the other day. It was only missing the peep sight and I was able to get something off of ebay that fits it. Really pretty grain in the walnut. I didn't know much about it but found this really helpful site.
