How is the milsurp market these days?

they havent went on sale yet...everything shows oos 7ntil opening day

Oh? OK then!

So now the $1500 question is when do they go on sale?

I know they are asking way too much, but I really would like to get a decent Rock Ola before I croak...Not that I plan on doing that anytime soon.

Rebuilding an m1 carbine bolt is much easier with the bolt tool. Wish I would have bought one a long time ago

Was shooting a 1903A3 Smith Corona...you have to be a crazy SOB to want a 1903 pattern rifle over the Garand if you were storming the beaches in Normandy.

I believe so.

I've never used 'em. Midway has a free shipping thing going if you order over 49 bucks.

I searched for it and found where Midway says they are from Italy...the Italian National Police got them after the war.

"Per our supplier, these guns are believed to have come directly from use in the European theatre of WWII, eventually making their way to the Italian Armed forces. From there they went to the Carabinieri – the Italian National Police - and have been in storage since the early 1950s. There are no records indicating how the Italian Armed Forces came into possession of these WWII M1 Carbines....

....In service during the war, these M1 Carbines were then placed in storage for almost 70 years by the Italian government."
