When I was single one of my criteria was eating a steak cooked no more than medium rare.

People that don't know bull about bout steak go over med rare.
Warm, red in the middle. The first time I had steak at a restaurant with my wife's family (all charcoal eaters), I thought her dad was going to lose it when I sliced my steak and the plate turned red. Good times!
Medium rare.
Good to see most folks know how to eat a steak. Don't cook past Mid rare, don't soak your steak in a bag of Dales sauce. A light Marinade or simply cracked pepper and sea salt will do. Let your steak warm up out of the fridge in advance of cooking it. Nearly room temp.
For God's sake, don't order or cook steaks well done. It's a disgrace to the animal! Lol. Learn how to eat them right. Go a little less WD each time and appreciate the taste of the meat. Might as well chew an old sneaker if you're eating well done steaks.
