Elk is good also. I haven't had moose, but it's on my bucket list. I didn't like mule deer though

Wife bought some ground elk last week. Had 3%beef. Made for a really nice smash burger although the meat seemed really dense. I pulled them off before they 'looked' done and am glad i did.

Looks really good DinkyDau . Reminds me of living in Maine a few years ago. My wife’s cousin shot a moose one year we lived there, then her husband shot one the next year. They gave us more than 30lbs of steaks and burgers. They added 80/20 beef to the burgers because moose is so lean. They were really good as were the steaks.

I don’t know why I love moose so much, but it is the best to me. And I really like deer and elk. Antelope not so much.
