High Gravity Beers

Also 3 Philosophers is a 20+ proof beer that makes the world go 'round.

What potent brews are you guys drinking?

I got a pyramid something or other IPA at taco mac. It was so good and at 9% the power was real.

Duvel, maudite and Delerium are all good.

Sadly I love all beers ever though.

Take a look at St. Bernardus...another 10.5% powerhouse.

I generally stick to the 7% or less range stuff, mainly because I like the taste of certain ingredients over the heavier alcohol taste. But that's just me. And before anyone starts the 'wimpy' beer tact...my normal drink is beer on steroids, also known as scotch.

Old Chub at my local cigar bar Maxwells in Woodstock. It stands up well to a smoke and a just over 8% is good value in the $ to intoxicated realm.

I'm drinking Certified Evil from lucky bucket. It weighs in at 9.1 abv. It's a nice stout porter

Golden Monkey is good. A little too much alcohol for my tastes.
Any Tripel is fine with me. St. Bernardus, Chimay Cinq Cents, Duvel...
I've got a Dogfish Head World Wide Stout that is 23-26% (Cellared, amd it's almost ripe!!!) Will keep yall posted!

Sam Adams Utopias. 27%....54 proof! Non-carbonated, drink it room temp. Cant get it in GA, but you can order it and have it sent to your door for around 300 bucks a bottle...
