Ford also built the Torino Talledega and Mercury Cyclone Spoiler to homologate them for nascar.

Plus the Ford GT40 Mark IIIs were "production" cars for homologation purposes, so they could compete at Le Mans, Sebring and Daytona. I have road tests from 1966 that said there were several compromises made to meet the racing rulebook and still be street legal.
