Remember folks, your speedometer is off by 10-15% at high speeds.

If your speedo says 150 you are probably going only 135. Unless you have a speedo-healer or is clocked by GPS, then your claims are not accurate.

Fastest I've ever been was 170 mph in my 4 banger racing a procharged vette. It was a blur.

Overdrive at 147mph. Not bad.
Not a huge vette fan either but I do like the '14 Stingray (and the '65's).

Not quite, that was only 5th gear, OD is 6th at .5:1. Top speed has always been achieved in 5th.
Obviously I love Corvettes but Hennessy has had some issues (legal, financial and moral) with other Corvette and Viper owners in the past. Screwed a friend of mine over big time. You can do a search on the web if you're interested.

200MPH in any street car takes a serious set though! It's a testament to the aerodynamics and suspension of the C7!!
