G19 or G23

I LOVE my. G23..... Best shooting handgun I personally have ever owned, fits MY hand like a glove.....That being said I have not shot a G19 and considering they are the exact same other than calibers it should fit my hand like a glove as well, and I might shoot better with the 9mm, I doubt it though....lol

The 40 has more snap then I care for. Its a good round, I just dont care for it. Id go with the glock 19. Holds more rounds and with the right hollowpoint can do wonders.

Of those two, I'd vote 19. For comp and target, I'd also consider Glock's competition series, or at least a 17 unless you've got relatively small hands.

The 23 is nice because you could get a 9mm barrel, or a 357sig barrel and have the best of a few worlds. The 19, which I have and love, is always going to be a 9mm. I find more than enough power out of the 9mm, plus I have a few 33rd mags

This. Get the 23. Drop in 9mm conversion barrel and glock 19 mags. Best of both worlds.
Also later on you can add a 357 sig barrel and 22 cnversion kit and have the best of both worlds...

I have tried to warm up to the .40 Glocks but never could. I've had a few 23's and 27's but always get rid of them. I do have 2 G19's that I will never sell or trade. Plan on adding another G17 after Christmas.

I used to have nothing but 40's until I got a 19 now the 23 is my home defence gun and the 19 stays on my hip
