Fishing off the bank

Are state parks even open? County parks? Tribble Mill has some fishing docks and lots of bank fishing available.
Hard Labor Creek Reservoir is pretty close. It's new. I know they stocked it with lots of different fish when they were building it. Lake Varner used to be a great place. I haven't fished it for quite some time but it was great bass fishing and also crappie.
Closed and closed until further notice.
Even in good times Bear Creek has limited bank fishing.
State parks are open.
County parks are county by county, but I would assume they are closed.
Marben Farms PFA is in Social Circle, about 30 min. from OP. It has 20 ponds, and while I can't personally speak for bank fishing, usually it is promoted at PFA.
Varner has slowed up pretty hard unfortunately.....right up the road from me. Last week I was at South River 3 days with no luck (I expected it since the water was high and muddy)
So, when you bank fish, you throw out to the middle and reel in..when you fish from a boat, you throw to the bank and reel out...always wondered about this.
I went to fort yargo, wind was crazy Thursday and was alright but cold Saturday morning only caught a sun burn and a bunch of brim lol
Caught my biggest fresh water fish ever in the Richard B. Russel Damn tail-race from the bank. Right about this time of year, too. 43lb Striped Bass on a half ounce Hotlips bucktail jig. Yellow and red.
