I picked up a sweet 14' Jon boat with a tilt trailer for cheap a couple months ago. I've been upgrading the boat ever since. I wanted to mount a fish finder without drilling into the boat. So I took a cutting board I picked up at the store, cut it to desired shape and drilled a hole in it. I used a long bolt and ran it through the oar lock. Took the fish finder mount and screwed it on the cutting board. Ran the wires through the ribs and good to go
