Fireworks near RR tracks Question

Was told someone needed to be X amount of feet or yards from railroad tracks to legally shoot fireworks.

Researched and couldnt find any law?

Anyone know?

You are not supposed to be on RR right of way, period. Not to hunt, fish, otherwise trespass. I don`t know how far the right of way goes, any more.

May be an old law from when the RR's used torpedos and flares more often. I agree stay off the right of way.

Sorry,i meant i live 200' from the tracks and was told i was too close to the tracks to shoot ANY fireworks,including firecrackers?

I've shot them off closer than that most of my life. My grannies property backs up to the tracks. Countless night shooting them off. Never heard anything about it.

Tell him you were 210 feet from the tracks when you fired them off and that's legal, because you looked it up.
