It is a disaster to get it all back off to repaint...

I can't speak to a whole car, but I have taken it off multiple times without much trouble. I found putting it on in thicker layers will help it come off easier in the future. If the coating is real thin then it will keep coming off in small pieces. With it on thicker, I just use a heat gun to soften the edge and start peeling and it comes off without much trouble as it stretches and comes of in bigger sheets.

Not much trouble at all considering you can change your whole paint job in a small amount of time without damaging the original finish underneath at all. Much faster than sanding and prepping/ priming, ect. if you were to do a traditional paint job.

3rd coat I think....these paint fumes are taking me back to my early twenties ;)
 
I can't wait to see it all unmasked and out in the sun light. It's looking real good right now though. I bet it'll look great tomorrow.
