Just a quick update on Faith, she has a post op biopsy this morning that is routine for transplant patients. She has discovered that life can be more enjoyable when you aren't sick all the time. She has recieved and found new life in her healthy body now. Her meds still are being adjusting a little each week. We are chugging right along with her right now as she is trying to function as a typical 17 year old girl. She's being more outgoing, and has a lot more energy. The only real challenge for her is to loose some weight. She has gained nearly 25 pounds since transplant. Mostly due to the steroids for her body to be able to fight infections. She's only 5' tall and usually 100 pounds soaking wet.
Thank you for your support, prayers, and fund raising. The ODT family is a good thing full of good people. I post and update on this thread when I hear from the doctors update.
