F marked AR Front Sight Base, meaning?

I'm as big a BCM fan as anyone, but I have to admit that it looks like the person responding to that email screwed up. Everyone makes mistakes though, and I can only imagine how many emails they have to respond to every day. The good news is, the guy in CS, isn't the guy designing and building rifles. At least they use the correct FSB, unlike many other commercial AR manufacturers. Heck, some of them don't even know what an F marked base is.

With that being said, what you were asking for was a stretch. They don't sell a non F marked FSB. And they don't have time to operate as a used spare parts exchange. That's what the EE & WTB ads are for. And A2 height FSB's aren't that hard to find.
