Based on what I have seen, the metro area probate courts are already booked for months after the covid lock downs and worried citizens trying to get a permit after the riots.

You can call now but I'd bet you can't get in until late Dec or January 2021.

If you’re carrying a 5” or larger blade I think you gotta pay the extortion fee. I’m not a lawyer but I did stay at a Days Inn a couple of weeks ago. YMMV....

Whew.... just checked em all.. I barely got in.. longest one is 4.75 inches.. I’d hate to know I was an outlaw....lol

Up until 2017 blade length didn't matter. Then of course they discovered yet another way to collect some $$$$$. Good things yours are 4.75" Can you imagine the horror you could instill on the unsuspecting public with that extra 0.25" Think of the children!
