Did Taurus do something different?

I just bought a new Taurus revolver. I've had one in the past, and I love them. They're great for the money. But Taurus has always wrote "Taurus" big on the barrel and the model and caliper. This has none of that. And I like it. Anyone know what's the story behind it.

I think gun makers in general are getting away from the huge billboards.

That being said, I'd love a GP-100 Match Champion, but I would never buy a revolver that said 'match champion' on the side in huge letters unless my last name was Miculek.

I completely agree, I've taken a look at that match champion before but don't like the idea of "match champion" plastered on my gun.
