Just a thought. I suspect that there are more members who would be willing to participate in scholarship fund for a fallen hero than would be needing a paracord rifle sling. I think that is the reason it took me a week to see the thread. I think if you ran it again with a clearer explanation of the purpose, you would get additional participation.
I appreciate the donation and response both. Prior to doing it this way, I posted a thread stating I was trying to raise money for a scholarship that had been established in his name. I had 0 responses, so I thought I would try a giveaway instead.
Thanks again for all the donations everyone. We are up to a total of 21 Donors and $205...and I can't thank each of you enough. I truly appreciate the generosity.
