Andouille Cornbread Dressing

This recipe is adapted from the book Emeril's New New Orleans Cooking and it's delicious and easy to make. Though there is nothing like serving it hot from the oven, it can also be made a ahead of time for easy entertaining.

Ordered 5 - 2 lb packs from Walmart on line. Went to pick them up at the Athens store and was only given 3. Supposedly out of stock. Went in the store and found the spot where they display them full.

l picked up a pack, I have never had it but think next week I'll cook some..I have some Spanish rice, Shrimp and still need fresh herbs to complete the dish..Between my Bride and myself we can't finish a full bowl..But I'm looking forward to trying it..

I just tried this sausage out of Florence, MS. Country Pleasin Brand...it is the *bomb*! Won't be going back to Conecuh anytime soon. Found this at Kroger, not sure if they carry the plain version or not.

I love me some Conecuh, but you could always make your own.

This is great in a low country boil. Walmart and other stores carry it. Made down in Valdosta. They have a bunch of different flavors.
