Colts bad QC

There are 2 lands noticeably lower than the other 4. I managed to get an obvious pic. Of one.

Thanks, when I saw the $899 quote above I was like :cheer2: but then nothing under $2000 here or on gunbroker so I was

There is a chrome finish python at Sandy Springs Gun Range, I "think" it was $1699, MSRP is $1499, https://www.colt.com/series/PYTHON_SERIES I didn't fondle it for long, it seemed solid, but I didn't inspect the barrel grooves, the reviews on it are mixed, so I didn't feel the need to buy it.

The finish looks good but let's just say the Lands are still not even. ... I had a buddy look at it and he noticed it as well when I pointed it out. This will be my last paperweight I buy from Colt.

It's a short-barreled, fixed-sight, combat/defensive handgun,
not a benchrest rifle.
Will those lands and grooves spin a .357 diameter bullet
and adequately stabilize it enough to hit your adversary in the chest
at 25 or even 50 yards?

That's what it was made for. I would think that the gun's specs,
and the Q.C. tolerances, have some relation to the gun's intended use and purpose.
