Colts bad QC

Purchased a brand new 2019/2020 Colt King Cobra and what a let down it is. I didn't even get to fire the damn gun when I noticed all the F****d up things with it. Contacted Colt right away and they are sending a shipping label for warrenty work... Hopefully they make it right.

1: Splotches all over the barrel above the underlug

2: The lands in the rifling are uneven. You can see three lands at the crown while the other three stop short.

3: Pitting in the last inch of the barrel. No it's not lead or carbon build up.

4: Looks like they tapped the barrel a little to far above the forcing cone... I keep finding more s**t...

I'd rather deal with S&W's off centered barrels and Hillary hole than what I got from Colt. I'm just p****d I didn't get to Choot it yet.

I wouldn’t buy a new revolver from S&W or Colt. Plenty of golden oldies waiting for a new owner.

Agreed. Never had problems with older Smith's. Purchased a new Smith a while back with a off centered barrel... I'm starting to think wheel guns are not ment for me haha.

At least so far Colt seems to be stepping up and taking care of them.

You have to expect some hiccups when a bankrupt company tries to reintroduce revolvers as a product lineup after not making them for what, 40 years? And all with that union labor force that has put them into bankruptcy itself.
