Colts bad QC

That may actually be a passed QC $900 pistol. I mean with union shop labor costs and everything associated with manufacturing a firearm today, would you expect the quality of yesteryear? It'd be like tooling up to reproduce Hi Standard Supermatic Citations. One fully kitted out and of the same quality as a Hamden pistol of the late 50s or early 60s would have to cost $4,000+ in 2020.

good,,,but how does the new one look. any of the same problems?

The finish looks good but let's just say the Lands are still not even. This is a completely new gun with a different serial number. I had a buddy look at it and he noticed it as well when I pointed it out. This will be my last paperweight I buy from Colt.

I was just pissed Colt never gave me a heads up that they were going to ship a gun to my home... Then FedEx just handed the box to my father without anyone signing or knowing what it was...
