Picked up a Colt AR-15 A2. Looking for an approximate year of manufacture. I have attached a pic of the side of receiver. It’s brand new never fired. Thanks for any info!

R6600, 1986 - 1991 production.

Down South? Value is about $1,200. Up North? In Mass? The stripped lower receiver alone is over $1,200.

Original green label box and accessories will add a few hundred to the value.

No box. Still has the cleaning kit in the stock. It’s in great shape. For a pretty good deal on it when I purchased a small collection. May throw it up on gun broker and see how it does.
