Where can you park for access in that area?[/QUOTe
I park at don white park and usually take a bike and ride north a mile. You can walk. You can have someone drop you off or kayak up that way. There is no real parking. But it's worth it.
I have been doing a lot of research on various locations to trout fish around the Chattahoochee from Jones Bridge down to East Palisades/Akers Mill.
I actually tried out East Palisades location at Whitewater Creek Trail. My goal was to wade the river but I was a little skeptical on wading too far out due to the jagged rocks, depth and the current.
So, are any of you guys familiar with the Chattahoochee? Where is the best place to fly fish? I bought my first fly rod a week ago at Cabelas and I was wanting to hook something today. I've been practicing casting in the yard and getting quiet good at it. Your advice is greatly appreciated!
By the way, I only caught 4 breem near the bank. The rivers is at least 100 yards wide in that area.
