I press in and swing the slide release up like John Moses intended the lines it leaves are just character.

I like the "idiot mark." It means someone was doing instead of talking, and it's fixable.

I accidentally dropped my canoe trying to load it onto my brand-new pickup truck in 2016, and creased the tailgate. "Now it's a truck!" I have a 9mm for EDC, and a Walther PPK/s .380 just because I like it. Both are cared for, but neither is a work of art. Both are accurate and completely reliable.

The Walther has been through many hands and does not look brand new. I like it because I bought it when it was hard to get one. I used the Walther when I took a gun safety class in order to get a Florida nonresident license. The instructor made fun of it, but I just said I liked it. It's bulls-eye accurate, even if I'm not! And aesthetically pleasing with all its flaws.

Yeah I never shot it either. Hard to find a place that will let you sling 750 grain ball.

Paid 2300 for the AR 50 new they are 3500 now if you can find one.
