Don't think i have ever heard of a deep fried turkey with stuffing in it- but i can understand why the stuffing would taste like crap

I like them both. My mom bakes hers over 2 days at low temp. Epic. Today we decided to switch it up. My brother in law brought the deep fryer over. Added oil and pop the thermometer in. About 30 mins in he realized the thermometer didn't work. Needless to say. We had soggy turkey. It was cooked but not crispy. He is fire from cook for life. Lucky for me I had friends giving the day b4 with 2 different types of fried turkey and a ham. Mmmmmm honey ham.

Agreed. I smoked mine for 15 hours. Started last night. It was AMAZING!

I won't eat baked turkey, fried is pretty good but nothing comes close to a brined slow smoked bird. I'll usually smoke a turkey around May as well just because.

I prefer fried after marinating in Cajun spice. However, today my brother in-law smoked one and it was pretty darn good as well.
