Backup In 9mm

I’m guessing you primary is a full size 9mm, so here goes.

Sig 365, Glock 43x (a 48 with shorter barrel) and Springfield Hellcat are very comparable. All three excellent choices. After putting all three in my hand, I chose the Hellcat. It fits me better. With extended mag, I use it for EDC since it gives me 13 ways to say, “I love you.”

None of those are really conducive pocket carry, in my opinion. If I was to add a “Get Off Me”, I’d be looking at what you already carry. It never hurts to research. Have fun and be safe.

For those that Carry backups, do you also carry medical (tourniquet, chest seal, etc)? Or non lethal such as pepper spray? Tactical light? Or anything else? Or just two guns? Just curious

Good question. I don’t carry a backup. I do carry a aluminum pen and utility knife. In my truck are flashlight (goes on me in evening). Tourney and chest seal are in my console.

I keep tourniquet and trauma kit in each auto! Carry light and pocket knife!
