I recently did this work to my carry gun. I did a stipple job that feels like sand paper, did some grinding with the ole dremmel, and used a "Special" compound to make a nice strong beavertail, which keeps me from getting slide bite. It is by far the best feeling handgun Ive held. whatcha think fellas?

Looks nice! Does it wear on your hand any with extended shooting sessions (300+ rounds), or on your shirt while carrying? The beaver tail turned out nice as well, I personally have never experienced the glock side bite, but everyone is different. As long as it feels great to you is all that matters.

it really doesn't wear at all, I was honestly shocked at how good it feels. when I said like sand paper I may have been a little excited...what i mean is it will not move in your hand, dry hands, wet hands whatever......it really just works well.

I have never had slide bite from my glock either, but have from a springfield 1911. Your glock looks good man. I had a kimber that had a nice rough grip to it and I liked it. The beaver tail actually looks stock from the pictures. Can tell you took your time on that. I would like to stipple my glock 36.

Added a pic of a 36 I did for a friend a couple of days ago!
