Who DOESN'T do a meetpop to check for function? Unless you actually recover the bullet, how are you gonna be sure it's not just a blank pistol? If you don't bring your own bullet stop.... I mean "buddy," then you gotta shoot the seller. That's gonna hurt your feedback. Seems like a standard buy to me. Maybe this is why I can't seem to break into the double digits. Running out of buddies...

Only one of them. the other two survived.
A while back I went to meet up with an ODT'er for a trade and the guy hand me a loaded pf9. Upon inspection I realized the gun was loaded. I dropped the mag and cleared the gun. His excuse was "this is my carry gun and I just forgot to clear it". Major safety breach.

I had 3 choices.... went with the less obvious... my sense of humor is warped
1. I bet he regrets getting a tattoo of "Side of a barn" on his belly (think about it as in "you couldn't hit the side of a barn with that hi-point")
2. Obvious "no elbow shots" patch on his carpul tunnel brace...
3. Target birthmark
