they want $10K i would NOT give that.

Depends on several things:
How much?
How many owners? If a bunch of people have owned it, good sign it has problems. Get a car fax even if you have to pay for it. That will show if it has had a bunch of issues. It will also show the mileage from each trip to the shop which will reflect if the 75,000 miles are accurate or not.
Also pull the hood and check around the radiator supports etc. many times a nice putty looking front end is covering the truth about a front end collision right under the hood

according to the carfax 1 owner since 2002 and the same dealer has serviced the vehicle since2005.
