Pretty! I think '50s production is right on account of the lettering, "thumb groove" on the slide, and internal extractor. The sights look like they have been changed, which probably makes them better but hurts collectability. Not sure if the nickel finish is original because the safety and...

New one with a Vortex Viper + 150 rounds of ammo for $1620, or $1445 after rebate.
Yeah, not really arguing with what you've said. It's just I've found it's easier to sell cheaper guns (more buyers), and I'd get a higher percentage of the value back (with some exceptions). But definitely, people with money are always around. Just a matter of connecting with the right person.
The problem with selling higher end guns is that they are luxury items. There just aren't that many people who can spend $1500 on a gun, and those who can, why would they spend it on yours?
Not if you're talking guns. Summer slumps are normal in the firearms business, but this is even lower than the normal slumps. 30-50% lower. It'll go crazy again in 6-12 months.
YMMV, but glasses worked for me, and I have quite a bit of astigmatism. Contacts are better, though.
A lot of people think using glasses makes your vision worse, but that's not true. Your eye muscles have little to do with the quality of your vision. Near/farsightedness comes from length of...
The footprint is Shield RMSc. You can directly mount a Shield RMS/RMSc/SMS, Swampfox Sentinel, Sig Romeo Zero, and several others. With a plate or modification (grinding down the recoil lugs), you can mount the Holosun "k" series (407k, 507k, EPS). The Holosuns are probably the best.
The rail's where the barrel is, so I imagine it will hold zero just fine. I bet that's the reason the rail doesn't extend onto the receiver (problems holding zero).
The only thing similar about those two guns is that they are both 9mm pistols. I think they're both great for what they do, but they serve completely different markets. I don't think Springfield's lost a single SA-35 sale to someone who bought an Equalizer instead. As you've said, you...
RIT dye does work on polymer, and it does penetrate a few mm beneath the surface, so a scratch won't reveal the original color. It's not like painting the surface. But you can't dye a lighter color - only darker. Dye adds color, so when you dye polymer, your final color will be something in...
I bought some and returned it. Got the return shipping label in a few days. Refund took a few weeks. I think they got a little overwhelmed by it.
Gave me a coupon for my trouble, but even with the coupon, their current prices aren't competitive.
I don't know about the Z9 mag. Yeah, it gives you +3, but it's as long as a +2 extension or maybe a hair less. Not nearly as impressive as the S15 mags.
