The higher ups at S&W have been putting out a ton of new releases the last few years. I would like to think they will consider revamping the 3rd gen series. I know they asked the public on Twitter for feedback recently about what their customers would like to see on the horizon and a new "4th...
Love mine. Have to admit it's been more of a safe queen lately though. Hope for the day S&W will bring back this series. Would love to see what a 4th gen model could potentially look like!
Looks like MCK's website is showing a waitlist for possibly their own braced 10mm rifle. Not many details available right now...

It's all very interesting IMO to say the least. The other thing that I find curious when talking about the MP5/rollerlock platform is how the word "clone" gets used so frequently. It's like every other company out there making the platform is always referred to as an HK clone more times than...
So it sounds like DT is more of a boutique style company since their inventory to the public stays on the lower side. Just not sure why the average buyer would pay more for a DT clone when HK's platform can be had for less in the current economy.
So from everything I've heard and read over the last few years, Dakota Tactical is supposed to be a top notch producer of the MP5/rollerlock platform. I can't help but notice though, every time I visit their website, it looks like half of their inventory is sold out or unavailable. Even when I...
I just saw the same thing. I monitor those mags every three months or so myself trying to find the best time to sell a few. Looks like I may have to wait a little while till some of those listings thin out some.
Gotta fly out in a few weeks to New Orleans most likely on Southwest. Any recent travelers have any updates on checking their pistols in with the airlines? It's been about 3+ years since I last checked a pistol. Any of the protocols change from one persons experience to another? Thanks in advance!
I'm toying with the idea of a semi-portable tool chest system that could be rolled in an emergency but it would stay put the majority of the time in one spot due to the overall weight once all the containers are filled up. Anyone else try this method?
Saw one at Adventure Outdoors for $650 yesterday. Seems a little pricey. The trigger pull is much improved compared to the 9mm M&P stock triggers in my estimation.
It's a shame that the our "mainstream" news outlets don't put a bigger spotlight on these kinds of stories when they occur. But, we all know its a part of their playbook of not elevating any sort of pro-gun stories in today's environment. Anyways, thought this story was worth sharing as it could...
Every style holster I've tried has worked. From all the specs released, the only thing that has changed is the size of the grip area to accommodate the enlarged magwell for the extra capacity.
Very good tip. Just because a 17 round mag or a mag with more capacity is legal in Georgia doesn't mean it's legal in Colorado. Definitely check the state gun laws. You never know when someone is going to wake up on the wrong side of the bed one day.
One tip I heard a few years back is that it's a good idea to wait about 20-30 minutes before going thru the TSA lines after you hand over your bags with the gun to the oversize office that way in case they see something they don't like then you'll be right there instead of making it all the way...
Like the other comments have noted already, you have a S&W M&P Shield 45 (subcompact model). The extended mag is for the full size S&W M&P model. Youtube or Patreon is your friend along with some training (IMHO). Welcome to the trader though.
Went and fondled one at the Gwinnett Bass Pro earlier. MSRP there was $549 plus tax. Also, Bullseye in Lawrenceville said they had them as well but they were about $20 higher. To the naked eye it feels and looks just like the last two Shield releases. Due to BPS's policy, they are not allowed to...
