My sister worked in the billing department for trugreen all through college. I wouldn't trust them to water my yard.

Where is this lawn located? As someone said before, don't sweat it, it should be fine. It also doesn't look like a fungus at all, it would be patchy.

Sorry third post. Fungus occurs when its hot and humid. If fungus its the effect from last year.

Lawn is located in Charleston,Sc. I know it had a fungus last year as I have two spots prob 3x3 feet each that's bare. My fathers neighbor in johns creek,ga looks the same and both are emerald zoysia

Two tips I was given by my lawn service - scalp (mower) in March aerate in May. The March "scalping" got rid of a lot of the brown "thatch". Good luck and watch the watering, I think it adds to the thatch problem.

Tommy is correct, earlier green up on the coast and subseptible to late freeze.

Actually Meyer Zoysia I recall is very coarse , I have Zeon Zoysia its very nice, so is Emerald
