^^^^^ u got that right brother^^^^^ the "mac daddy-0" version of the Chinese war sword the dao or dadao is very very cool. I have a small version (I think 22") not made buy them but the chopping power is shocking. I have used it as a camp tool for years and it WILL take down trees like an ax

Agreed. I would encourage you to choose your machete wisely, though. If it's going to last, hold up to SHTF and uh...zombie beheadings?
Me, personally? I'm not gonna bet my life on a $20 machete. Most of 'em won't hold up like the ZT blades the OP kicked this thread off with. Luck for us, there is some in-between!
