My great uncle was one of the first to receive surplus Jeep’s and for the first 3-4 years used them for hunting in Washington St.

Turns out the off road hunting experience was such a hit that they created a group called the Yakima Ridge Runners...

The surplus Jeep’s were exposed so he actually welded piping together and wrapped cloth around to keep the patrons warm inside during the winter hunting. Too bad he didn’t paten it because a member from Cali did and his name is on Jeep’s lmao!
