Last night we went to a friend’s house for dinner and had more food that should be legal. Ribs, smoked chicken, pulled pork, about 10 different sides, and about 10 desserts. I didn’t bbq anything since the host wanted to do all that and it was damn good. My wife took homemade peach cobbler and blueberry crumble, I made pinwheels for an appetizer. Ours was quite popular.

For lunch, we stopped at a restaurant and I ordered a bourbon bacon cheeseburger with no bun to cut out carbs. I didn’t read the description before ordering. This is what came out.

4 patties with 4 slices of cheese, and 2 slices of bacon. I only ate half because I knew we would eat a big dinner.

The texture and flavor were wonderful IMO and there were several who came back for seconds, and not small portions. I got several requests to do it again. There are only a few things I would change and all are small.
