Whatever happened to the art of the deal!?

Have you noticed the constant rants about overpriced and then the same people gripe about lowballers? Nobody seems to understand how to horsetrade, Hell I bet they get their butt handed to them at the car dealers. I guarantee you I am going to ask for a better deal about 95% of the time. It's not about "beating somebody out of sumthin'" That's just the way I was raised. I mean it never hurts to ask and I don't get pissed off when I get a low offer. Just say thanks but no and move on.

Dude, you know me. And you know I post a realistic price for anything and everything I sell here. I do that because if I want to sell it I want it gone in a hurry. So my asking price is usually very good. I don't wanna be one of those guys with the same **** posted here for YEARS.
And yeah I'm sure lots of guys here bitching about price are the same ones grabbing their ankles at car lots. I've seen it happen and helped it happen more than a few times in the past.
