What do you think of this engine design?

It's very interesting... they combined the idea of the wankel rotary(RX-7) with a common gas motor. I would like to see performance and longevity statistics. I don't think it will outperform the wankel rotary motor performance wise.

Check out CID Engine project. I spent some time admiring and consulting Mr. Cook on some of his designs. It is the only working internal propulsion system ever to operate. It, in my opinion, has the most potential of any new engine design out there.

Very interesting; however doesn't look like it'd hold up under normal use/abuse by everyday folks, who don't even change oil in their own cars. That central wobbly cam device has all kinda stress in every direction & it's the one, single focus of all the mechanical force. Just a little slack, wear or overheating & that will tear the whole thing apart. Good idea for experiment though.

I like the 6 stroke engine. Designed by crower I think

Sucks in gasoline.
Compresses it
Fires
Exhausts
Sucks in plain air
Compresses
Injects water
Exhausts

Gets an additional power stroke for free
There's an operating test engine

Probably never see production since the car companies are not interested in it if they didn't think of it

Remember when smokey yunick invented some mods to a Pontiac Fiero engine ?
And GM bought it and buried it ?
So no one would ever be able to use it ?
