I've come to the end of my financial rope and desperation has set in. I know their are a load of excellent resources on this site so I figured I'd throw up my information and see if I can't be pointed in a good direction.
I recently received and Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Army and relocated to GA where my fiance/wife lives. I've applied to well over 100 jobs in this area and have heard very little back. I am going through the process with the Atlanta Police Department but they aren't exactly a timely bunch. I am fully capable and willing to do anything and everything. Below are a list of my prior training both civilian and military. Oh I also have over 24 months in Hazardous Duty assignments where I've actually utilized all these skills so experience should be of no question.
US Army
Sniper (B4)
Parachutist
Small Arms Instructor
Combat Life Saver
Intelligence Analyst
Human Intelligence Collector
Reconnaissance and Surveillance
Civilian
Bachelors Degree in Homeland Security
Emergency Medical Technician - B
First-Aid/CPR Certified
Computer Programming Certified
Computer Hardware Specialist
I am sure there are a few more certificates and training I am leaving out. I also have an active security clearance which should be high enough for any job in this area. Perhaps I've been looking in the wrong directions and I truly hope someone here can give me some good leads. Thanks again for taking the time to read this.
