Got a reunion with my hose dragging brothers tomorrow for breakfast at the station like old times. Making about 100 sausage balls to take. They will be gone before I leave.

If you were lucky, the station had their 'chef' that did the cooking or if at a multicompany house, a rotation of chefs/cooks, each with their specialty. Some really great and memorable meals with good folk. (Mine was Poorman's beef stroganoff, which I still cook 50 years later. Bon Appitite!

I was the meat cooker at my house. We had a biscuit maker, sushi maker, casserole maker, gravy man.....etc. Was a lot of fun.

We had a guy on "C" Shift that make killer cinnamon rolls. If he was making them that particular morning, many of us would stay over just so we could overindulge breakfast!
Yeah, I was B shift and sometimes would stay over and eat with C shift if a guy named Big George was cooking
