Update 6-6-16 5:00pm: Ally's infection is Pseudomonas that has been causing the fevers. It started in the gastro track and when she pooped, it got into a tear on her bottom from the chemo keeping it irritated and this caused the infection to get into her blood stream. It's a very dangerous infection and is deadly. They have her on 4 different antibiotics trying to kill the bacteria. They have her on so many because this bacteria is very resistant to antibiotics. Because of this, we will likely be here another 2-3 weeks atleast. Her white blood cell count went from 600 yesterday to 1600 today. The Dr. told us that means she's going into remission but they won't confirm that for sure till her bone marrow test on day 29...we are on day 17 right now. We had to make a mutual decision to put Ally on a morphine dose every 3 hours. The pain medicine they were giving her by mouth just wasn't helping any longer. This is not something we wanted to do but we cant stand her being in pain anymore so we agreed this was best for her until they get this infection under control. Posted it for you @Jwater
