I despise cities/counties that have their ticket crickets on patrol for the sole purpose of revenue. There are more important issues that need to be taken care of than a simple damn traffic violation. Granted, there are idiot drivers out there that need to be ticketed, but for the cities/counties to hand out tickets like M&M's at Halloween, to me, is ridiculous.

Could be like the UK where the fines are on a sliding scale dependent on your income, that can really sting. I quite like it, designed to make it hurt the wealthy as much as the poor, and the fines could go into the thousands.
