No, it would not. Terrible analogy. We are nowhere near the tech level required for interstellar travel. More like taking a vacation to a cow pasture. That is how much further advanced they would be compared to us.

I'm guessing the dangers of inter galatic travel are infinitely far more perilous than anything Lockheed Martin can produce.
Or are you saying they just drop in every now and then, get video'd and then leave before they get shot at and they also somehow know they won't get shot at during that brief visit?

By the time a species has mastered interstellar travel it will also have mastered:


1. Cloaking/active camouflage of all spectrums. Effectively invisible to us.

2. Shielding. Our strongest nukes would be like tossing rocks at an aircraft carrier.


You really underestimate the technology required to travel between systems. We are talking orders of magnitude difference between us and them.
