To shoot it or not to shoot it?

Save the box, paperwork etc and shoot the heck out of it. If, and that is a huge IF, they become collectible, you will have all the goodies and no one will care if it was shot. Just my opinion.

I'm not a collector, but I believe a few do exist, somewhere?

You never know what any item will do, but Colt and Ruger have a history of finding niches when other things don't?

If you do keep it, with all the hang tags, pristine packaging ect.., it may pay dividends for someone someday, but the markets just as likely to turn the other way too?

If I had one now that I bought at a decent price, I'd likely sit on it a while. You have others to shoot, and you'll likley know in the next three or four years if there's going to be any interest in unfired ones from Colt collectors.

I've got no-name ones that I've been unintentionally sitting on for a while, and they haven't cost me a dime to just sit there.

Well it's gong to get shot! I have started ordering parts for it! She is getting a DD 12.0 Light Rail, Magpul UBR Stock, and an Aimpoint micro(I think).
