Think weed is harmless?

I find the violence claims kind of dubious. I can remember smoking some pretty potent stuff as a college kid and I never, ever saw anyone get violent while they were high.

Now admittedly that wasn't the stuff they have today, but I have to figure that hash and hash oil were close. According to the interwebs 'vintage' hash oil was averaging 15% THC.

Still, a 10x increase in potency has got to be an issue on other fronts. I could see getting that high being extremely disorienting, that's for sure. No different than being really, really drunk.

Nearly all chemical substances have a toxicity point, which will vary by individual. For some people, it's possible to drink enough alcohol for it to be lethal. THC wouldn't be any different, in the sense that at some level of concentration, it dramatically alters the brain's function, potentially causing permanent alteration, as the article suggests.
