Not sure...I usually run it down until I can't pull it out by hand. Never had this happen before.

I set the hook, rod bowed down like a rainbow, started ripping drag, and snapped clean in half. Guess I'm done for the day and I still have three beers left...

It was prolly a boat Or a submersible {too soon}?
